Koduri Srisaila Sri Rajamouli, known mononymously as S. S. Rajamouli, is an Indian film director and screenwriter who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. Born on October 10, 1973, in Amareshwara Camp, Raichur district (present-day Karnataka), he is the son of acclaimed veteran screenwriter V. Vijayendra Prasad. He began his filmmaking journey working in television serials under director K. Raghavendra Rao and assisting in script development before transitioning into full-length feature direction. He made his directorial debut with the coming-of-age action film *Student No.1* (2001) and established an unprecedented, unblemished 100% box-office success record across his entire filmography.
