Prachi Tehlan
Prachi Tehlan is titled as "Queen of Court" by The Times of India &
"Lass of The Rings" by The Indian Express. These are just some fancy names given to a dedicated girl who worked very hard to make her fortune and family proud of her.
Having 11 years of sporting career both in basketball and Netball, she has represented her school, college, state and country at various levels. She was the youngest captain of Indian Netball team in Commonwealth Games 2010, Delhi holding a record of being the captain consecutively for 2 years in all major international championships. Also, India won its first international (Silver) medal in South Asian Beach Games 2011, Sri
Lanka under her captaincy and Gold medal in 54th National Games held in Jharkhand.
Academically, she has done her graduation in B.Com (Hons) from Jesus and Mary College (Delhi University), PGD in Marketing Management from IMT Ghaziabad and MBA in HR & Marketing from IP
University, Delhi. She is having corporate experience of almost 3 years now working with various companies like Development Bank of Singapore, Deloitte, Philips, 1800
Sports and Accenture.
She was awarded as sports women of the year in 2010 by her college and grabbed a place in the Delhi University Achievers List. She recently was awarded by AAS NPO for excellence in the field of sports.
Not just this, she has been recognized as a chief guest in World Vision Marathon for Child Mortality, Sports meet of Desh Bandhu College, IP Univeristy, Dev Samaj School, Deepalaya School, Schiller School, Pragati School, Leh Leh Sports Event, and at many more places.
She has been a subject of various articles published by leading newspapers and magazines like India Today, Womens Era, She is dynamic, confident, multitalented and is equally interested in the field of art, photography, travelling and reading. She is also titled as one of the top 10 most beautiful sportswomen in India.
