Valeria Ruiz Salas
Valeria Ruiz studied Communications at the University of Lima. After graduating, Valeria worked as a freelance screenwriter for telenovelas, writing ‘Extasis’ and ‘Vidas Prestadas’ for Iguana Producciones, as well as a teaching assistant for university courses and a director on various video projects. She then participated in the UN program "The Volunteer Odyssey," a project where 21 young videographers from different countries created reports on the work of United Nations volunteers in countries such as Thailand, Nepal, Spain, Brazil, the United States, Tanzania, and Lebanon. In London, she received a scholarship to study for a Master's degree in film directing at the National Film and Television School.
